The entry must be able to address functional aspects of the design through the use of strategic space planning.

The entry must able to demonstrate the conception of design and how the final visual outcome has been achieved.

Creative, Originality , Functionality & Design Concept 50%
Evaluate the designer’s creativity, Originality, Functionality & Design Concept , and integration of architectural elements as well as Real Materials.
Aesthetical (Technical proficiency, accuracy, quality of rendering, including lighting, color combination shadows and textures) 20%
Assess the young designer’s knowledge of design trends, sustainability, and openness to new ideas.
Completeness, Clarity of Design documentation, Accuracy of floor plans, Elevations, inclusion of necessary technical details and specifications 30%
Evaluate the young designer’s portfolio for growth potential, improvement, and ability to push boundaries.
Judging Criteria – Category D (100%)
1. Theme & Design Brief (25%)
The entry must clearly interpret and showcase the given theme. It should demonstrate a strong understanding of the design brief, concept development, and how the theme is translated into the overall design approach.
Functionality (25%)
The entry must demonstrate ease of use, safety, and practicality of the design. Consideration of maintenance and how the space benefits its intended users and/or audience should be clearly addressed.
Spatial planning (25%)
The entry must effectively address functional requirements through strategic space planning, circulation, zoning, and efficient use of space.
Aesthetics (25%)
The entry must demonstrate the design intent and creative vision, highlighting how materials, colors, forms, lighting, and detailing contribute to achieving the final visual outcome.
